Designing the World You Desire: <Small World> Silk Scarves (2022)
I have been working long with papers, especially stationery illustration. However I always have been dreaming to work on fabrics, which are a bit different from papers - fabrics are what people WEAR, it becomes the world-scape if people wear them on daily.
Art as resembling the world, or expressing the world you feel - how you have your aesthetic experience through world-delivering was a long history. Well, but that's not what we storytellers do. We pass on the world we desire - through fabrics - and by them on reality world being shown - by then you can Design your own World, make it a real world-sight.
As a student majoring Aesthetics (Philosophy, Ewha Womans University) this is a final report after a semester full of art philosophy.
First work with a photographer, and a model - and also with fabric ; silk 100%.
